Upādānakkhandha Sutta
Satipaṭṭhānavagga Upādānakkhandhasutta “Pañcime, bhikkhave, upādānakkhandhā.
Disciples, there are these five aggregates subject to clinging.
Katame pañca?
What are the five?
Rūpupādānakkhandho, vedanupādānakkhandho, saññupādānakkhandho, saṅkhārupādānakkhandho, viññāṇupādānakkhandho— ime kho, bhikkhave, pañcupādānakkhandhā. Imesaṁ kho, bhikkhave, pañcannaṁ upādānakkhandhānaṁ pahānāya …pe… ime cattāro satipaṭṭhānā bhāvetabbā”ti. Catutthaṁ.
The form aggregate subject to clinging, the feeling aggregate subject to clinging, the perception aggregate subject to clinging, the formations aggregate subject to clinging, and the consciousness aggregate subject to clinging: these are the five aggregates subject to clinging.
For the abandonment of these five aggregates subject to clinging, the four dwellings of mindfulness should be developed.
